Greetings, visitor. This site is a fusion of professional understanding and survivor experience of Intimate Partner Sexual Violence (IPSV) and other abuse, effects and healing. I’ll just share a little about this site for different visitor groups:
Survivors: If you are a survivor of marital/partner sexual assault in the past, or are facing it now, I do hope that you leave this site feeling less isolated, for you are definitely not alone. You will find survivor stories, healing and safety tips plus much more. Please note that this site is not intended to be a substitute for professional care – if you are in crisis, you are encouraged to make use of a hotline to get the support you deserve. I must also add that when interacting with survivors via this site, I am not doing so in a professional capacity; I will support you if I can as a fellow survivor 🙂
Professionals: If you are working or studying in the counselling, medical, legal or other relevant fields, you may intersect with survivors of IPSV, and may wish to know more about the topic. There is plenty for you here, and please don’t forget also to see my professional site, where you’ll find tons more resources for your practice.
Students in any of the above areas will also find this site helpful.
Supporters: If you are here because you care for a survivor, you’re wonderful. There’s a page for you too, and I hope it, and this site help you gain understanding of IPSV.
