I've had the good fortune to be contacted by Sonia, who says "I would like to share this with you on partner rape.":

 

There is a silent scream inside of me. Once I was sweet and so trusting. Long ago. Not knowing that I just came down here to die from the silent scream. It is a scream of pain that runs deep through my psyche and down my spine and tears through my intestine. It reminds me of that famous painting in my art books, called the "Silent Scream". I'm different though, my mouth has been closed. My lips sealed. I feel ashamed. Ashamed because I have a body. Because my body has been used without my consent by those that I trusted and respected. Why did I allow it? But the scream is too painfull to ponder.

 

That is all I am, a scream that is silent and never ceases.
