This site is a fusion of professional understanding and survivor experience - of Intimate Partner Sexual Assault (IPSA) and other abuse, effects and healing. I'll just share a little about this site for different visitor groups:

Survivors
Rape by intimate partners is often not seen as "real" rape, and survivors often have difficulty finding validation. If you are a survivor of marital/partner sexual assault in the past, or are facing it now, I do hope that you leave this site feeling less isolated, for you are definitely not alone.

Professionals
If you are working or studying in the counselling, medical, legal or other relevant fields, you may intersect with survivors of IPSA, and may wish to know more about the topic. There are several pages on the site that may prove useful to you. I'll share more about that when you enter the site! Researchers who need survivor-respondents are most welcome to post a call-out on this site. See more about requirements inside.
